Vintage WWI & WWII Era World Silver 4-Coin Collector Lot A starter lot of four historic world silver coins from the British Commonwealth and France. Included coins: • 1934 New Zealand Sixpence (.500 silver) — huia bird reverse, George V obverse. A low-mintage early issue. • 1942-D Australia Sixpence (.925 sterling silver) — struck at the Denver mint for Australia during WWII; the D mint mark is visible below the arms. The best-preserved coin in the group. • 1942 Great Britain Sixpence (.500 silver) — George VI, crowned GRI monogram reverse. • 1918 France 1 Franc (.835 silver) — the classic Semeuse (The Sower) design. This coin has notable environmental damage: the surfaces are porous and darkly spotted on both faces, though the design and 1918 date read clearly. Condition: circulated and mixed, as described per coin above. Both faces of all four coins are photographed; these are the exact coins you will receive.
