Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. By ordering, you represent that the payment method used is yours and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. Products, grading, and images

We sell certified and raw ancient, world, and U.S. coins, and precious-metals bullion. Grades for certified coins are those assigned by the named grading service (NGC, PCGS, ANACS, ICG). Grading is subjective: a grade is that service's opinion, not a warranty of a particular market value, and grades we state for raw coins are our good-faith opinion only. Photographs are of the actual item unless the listing states otherwise; color and luster may render differently across screens, and such variance is not a defect. Collectible coins trade at premiums above metal content that fluctuate independently of spot prices — we make no representation about future value.

3. Pricing and orders

• Collectible coins are priced as listed and may change at any time before order confirmation.
• Bullion is priced from a live spot benchmark plus our premium. Your price is locked when your order is confirmed and payment is authorized, regardless of subsequent market movement in either direction.
• Pricing errors. Listings may occasionally contain a pricing, typographical, or attribution error. We may cancel any affected order before shipment and will refund in full; that refund is your sole remedy.
• Order acceptance. Your order is an offer; we accept it when we ship. We may refuse or cancel any order for suspected fraud, payment risk, sanctions or anti-money-laundering concerns, or an inability to verify your information.

4. Market loss policy (bullion cancellations)

Once a bullion order is confirmed, the price is locked and you have entered a binding purchase at that price. If you cancel, your payment fails, or you refuse delivery, you owe (a) any market loss — the difference between your locked price and our offered price for the same items at the time of cancellation, if the market has fallen — and (b) a cancellation fee of $35 or 5% of the order, whichever is greater. We may offset these amounts against any refund otherwise due to you. Market gains on cancelled orders belong to Denari Coins.

5. Payment and chargebacks

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, processed by Stripe; we never store full card numbers. Orders paid by check, wire, or ACH ship only after funds clear. If you dispute a charge for an order you received and did not return under the Return Policy, we may contest the dispute and recover the amount plus processor fees and reasonable costs.

6. Shipping, title, and risk of loss

All orders ship insured with tracking; higher-value orders require an adult signature. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon carrier-confirmed delivery to the address you provided (or upon signature, where required). You must report transit damage or a delivery discrepancy within 48 hours of delivery per the Return Policy so we can file the insurance claim. International orders, if accepted, are subject to the destination country's import rules and duties, which are your responsibility.

7. Returns and authenticity

Returns are governed exclusively by our Return Policy: bullion is final sale; certified coins may be returned within 3 calendar days of delivery with a pre-authorized RMA, sealed in the original holder, less a 20% restocking fee. Every item we sell is guaranteed genuine, on the terms and with the exclusive remedy set out in the Return Policy's authenticity guarantee.

8. Ancient coins — provenance and lawful import

We deal only in coins we believe in good faith were lawfully acquired and lawfully present in the United States, and we comply with applicable import restrictions, including those implemented under the Convention on Cultural Property Implementation Act. Where we hold provenance or export documentation for an item, the listing says so. You are responsible for compliance with the laws of any jurisdiction to which you take or send a purchased coin.

9. Not investment, legal, or tax advice

Denari Coins is a dealer, not an investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, or broker-dealer. Nothing on this site — including the Journal, the podcast, valuations, or market guidance — is investment, legal, or tax advice or a recommendation tailored to you. 10. Site content

Site content — text, photography, and the Denari Coins name and marks — is our property or licensed to us; you may not reproduce it commercially without written permission. We may suspend site access for violation of these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE, THE SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY WARRANTY AS TO GRADE, RARITY, OR FUTURE VALUE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (a) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR LOST MARKET OPPORTUNITY; AND (b) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM ANY ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT ORDER. Some states do not allow certain limitations; in those states, these limits apply to the maximum extent permitted.

13. Dispute resolution — arbitration and class waiver

Any dispute arising out of these Terms or any purchase will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, held by videoconference or in the Commonwealth of Virginia. You and Denari Coins each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by emailing sales@denaricoins.com within 30 days of your first acceptance of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date. The version in effect when you place an order governs that order.
