Return Policy
Last updated July 8, 2026. This policy governs all purchases made through denaricoins.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Summary
- Returns must be requested within 3 calendar days of delivery and pre-authorized (RMA).
- Bullion is final sale once an order ships — no exceptions, due to spot-price volatility.
- Certified/graded coins must be returned unopened in their original holder, cert number intact.
- A 20% restocking fee applies to all approved non-bullion returns.
- Original and return shipping are the buyer's responsibility and are non-refundable.
- Approved returns are refunded as store credit by default.
1. Return window
You must contact us to request a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") within 3 calendar days of the delivery date shown on the carrier's tracking record. Requests submitted after this window will not be accepted under any circumstances. The item must then be postmarked for return within 5 calendar days of RMA issuance, or the RMA is voided.
2. Bullion is final sale
All bullion products — raw gold, silver, or platinum bars, rounds, and coins priced at spot plus premium — are non-returnable and non-refundable once an order ships. Precious metals prices move continuously; accepting bullion returns would expose Denari Coins to market risk from price movement between purchase and return, so we do not accept them under any circumstances, including buyer's remorse, market movement, or a change of mind. This applies regardless of whether the item has been opened.
3. Certified & graded coins
Coins graded by PCGS, NGC, or another third-party service must be returned sealed in their original tamper-evident holder, with the certification number fully legible and unaltered. A graded coin is not eligible for return if:
- the holder has been opened, cracked, or shows any sign of tampering;
- the coin has been cleaned, dipped, polished, or otherwise altered from its shipped condition;
- the certification label is missing, damaged, or does not match our records; or
- the item shows handling damage not present in the listing photos.
Denari Coins' in-house team performs a physical inspection of every returned item before any refund is approved. This determination is final.
Raw (ungraded) collectible coins
Raw coins must be returned in the exact condition shipped, with all original packaging, certificates of authenticity, and enclosed materials. Any change in surface condition, toning, or handling evidence voids eligibility.
4. Non-returnable items
The following are final sale and not eligible for return under any circumstances:
- bullion products of any kind (see Section 2);
- items marked "final sale," clearance, or sold at a discount from list price;
- custom, special-order, or consignment items;
- any item not accompanied by a valid RMA number; and
- gift cards and store credit.
5. Restocking fee
Approved returns on eligible collectible items are subject to a 20% restocking fee, deducted from the refund amount. This fee compensates for handling, re-authentication, re-photography, and relisting costs. The restocking fee is waived only in the case of a confirmed authenticity misrepresentation under Section 8.
6. Shipping costs
Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping is the buyer's sole responsibility and must be pre-paid, fully insured for the item's purchase price, and sent via a trackable, signature-required service. Denari Coins is not responsible for items lost, damaged, or stolen in transit back to us, and uninsured or unauthorized returns will be refused at the buyer's expense.
7. Refund method
Approved returns are credited as store credit by default, issued within 10 business days of our inspection team's approval. Store credit does not expire and may be applied to any future purchase. A refund to the original payment method, net of the restocking fee and any payment-processor fees already incurred, may be issued instead at Denari Coins' sole discretion.
8. Authenticity guarantee
Every item we sell is guaranteed genuine. If an item is independently authenticated by PCGS, NGC, ANACS, or ICG as counterfeit or not as described, contact us within 30 days of delivery with the written authentication report. Upon verification, we will provide a full refund to your original payment method, including original shipping, and will cover the cost of a trackable return shipment. This is the sole and exclusive remedy for authenticity disputes.
9. Damaged or lost shipments
All orders ship fully insured. Damage must be reported with photo evidence within 48 hours of delivery; claims made after this window will not be honored, as our shipping insurance does not cover late-reported damage. Denari Coins will file the carrier claim and, once the claim is approved by the carrier, replace the item or issue store credit at our discretion.
10. How to request a return
Email sales@denaricoins.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the request. We will respond with an RMA number and return instructions if the request is eligible under this policy. Items returned without a valid, current RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the sender at their expense.
11. Final authority
Denari Coins reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to approve, deny, or partially approve any return request, and to determine an item's condition, authenticity, and eligibility under this policy. This policy may be updated at any time; the version in effect on your order date governs that order.
